Transformation comes when you not only CHOOSE to believe in God, but diligently SEEK Him, WORSHIP Him, and FOLLOW His footsteps.
It amazes me each and every day that God is HERE with us! He loves us, died for us, and wants us to spend eternity with Him! My heart just leaps for joy!
Let us praise Him in our thoughts, words, and good deeds! He is worthy of it all and more! :)

There is nothing more fulfilling than walking hand-in-hand with Jesus. He is always walking with us, always by our side (whether we like it or not sometimes :p), but when we finally choose to take hold of His out-stretched hand, everything changes.
You always know that He is beside you, comforting you, taking you through every high and low. When we want to let go and tell Him "I've got this. You can't help me. I don't need you anymore.", He stops us, looks us straight in the eye, and says "Yes you do. Let me help you please."

In just 9 days I will be setting off, with a group of teens from my youth group, on a missions trip to Haiti. While in Haiti, we will be building a church, houses, performing dramas on the street corners, and delivering books, candy, and clothing to the orphanages.
One of the dramas we will perform is....Freedom.
After our "audition", I found out that I am going to be the bondage girl. I was both honored and frightened. Even though I am already bruised from one practice, The Kingdom of God is what I am performing for, and I will do whatever it takes! :)
Please pray for my team and our journey, but most importantly pray for the Haitian people we will be ministering to, that they would have open hearts to receive Jesus and the peace, hope, and joy He can bring to their lives!!
Thank you so much! God bless!

Our past is what shapes us. Yes, we sometimes (or most of the time) wish that we had not made those choices....you know, the ones popping in your head right now, yeah those...but, we just have to accept that we cannot reverse what we have done, or what has happened to us.
But God, our Creater, our Daddy..He can take whatever you have been through, and use it to mold your future into the glorious life He originally wanted you to have.
It is time to accept the challenge. There is no need to linger on the thoughts of past stumbles, and regrets. Look forward! Give God the steering wheel to your life and DRIVE ON :)
I believe each and every one of you has a magnificient life ahead of you.
Blessings!

Valentine's Day...The first thing we think of when we remember that day is romance, boyfriends and girlfriends, and little heart-shaped cookies with pink icing. Do you agree?
Well, I do not intend on denying those assumptions, because that truly is what it was created for. But, even though that is the case, so many of us look past the REASON we are able to have this experience, and something to celebrate. The Creator of love. He is the One who designed us to have hormones, emotions, and eventually, a strong, Christ-centered, life-long romance.
The Author of romance. Oh, how I dearly love Him, and am trying so hard to patiently await the publish of my own, beautiful love story.
Love. Is. Beautiful.
God bless you all and have a happy *late* Valentine's Day!! :)

Today, the marking of my successfully completed 16 years of life. I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father, who knew me even before I was known on earth, He molded me into EXACTLY who he wanted, and I have no reason to complain. I am His child, His daughter.
Second, I want to thank my lovely mother, and father for bringing me into the world :) Although, they are no longer in harmony, and my father lives across the world, I still love them both dearly and am so glad to call them my parents :)
Today has been wonderful. It started with a surprise box full of pastries from Merrit's Bakery from my grandparents (which were DE-licious if I may say so), and then we headed off to pick out my new Bible! Ever since I was 6 I have been reading NKJV, so this year, since I am beginning a new part of my life, we thought it was time to advance on to KJV. I am so thrilled and cannot wait to begin reading! :) ...Then, we picked up my best friend, got our nails done (eep!), went out to eat, went thrift shopping, and then went to see the new movie War Horse, which was very touching :)
A splendid, splendid sweet sixteen!
Tomorrow after church, I will be celebrating my birthday, as well as my cousin's (who's is tomorrow), with our entire family.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with 16 marvelous years. I am so excited to see what He has planned for me in the future!
